Behavior Therapist Job Description:
- Provide direct implementation of applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions
- Address problematic behaviors in accordance with BACB Guidelines
- Utilize nonviolent crisis prevention intervention (CPI) approved procedures to de-escalate problem behaviors and ensure safety during crisis situations
- Track data for skill acquisition and problem behaviors on a daily basis
- Must have high school diploma
- At least one year of experience with autism spectrum disorders
- At least one year of experience with positive behavior supports and/or ABA interventions
- Available after the school day (after 3pm)
- Bilingual a plus
- Valid California identification card
- Current automobile insurance
- Current TB clearance within one year, immunization record (MMR, Hep B, Pertussis, Varicella)
- Fingerprint clearance through the California DOJ and FBI
